| Resumo: | Partindo de dez termos científicos frequentes, recolhidos em jornais e revistas durante um mês, concebeu-se uma exposição com o objectivo de promover a compreensão pública da cultura científica. Sob o título Palavras de Ciência, o projecto inclui os textos, imagens, e outros meios seleccionados e considerados adequados, tendo em conta a mensagem a transmitir e o público a quem se destina. Integrando o conhecimento científico no todo que é a cultura humana, a exposição procura explorar, numa narrativa em que se privilegiam relações com outras formas de interpretar a realidade, os conceitos científicos a que se referem as palavras de ciência. ABSTRACT: From ten frequent scientific words, picked up in newspapers and magazines during a month, an exhibition was conceived with the aim of promoting the public understanding of science. Under the title of Words of Science, the project includes the texts, pictures and media selected and considered adequate to transmit the message and accordingly to the audience characteristics. By putting the scientific knowledge in the whole human culture, the exhibition seeks to explore, in a narrative where connections with other forms of interpreting the reality are enhanced, the scientific concepts referred by the words of science.
