Summary: | The purpose of this project is answering the question about how InterContinental Lisboa’s restaurant Akla could increase its attractiveness, especially for non-guests, becoming a successful restaurant, by incorporating some concepts and theories of the literature review. Therefore, the focus is F&B best practices and customers’ motivations to eat out. A full analysis of the restaurant (physical structure, organizational structure, marketing strategies and competitive set) and its practices was performed in order to better understand what must be changed and what must be kept, which in the end is reflected in the recommendations.
