Synthesis, structural and spectroscopic studies of 2-oxoacenaphthylen-1(2H)-ylidene nicotinohydrazide

The synthesis of a new hydrazone, 2-oxoacenaphthylen-1(2H)-ylidene nicotinohydrazide, and its structural and spectroscopic characterization is reported.
