| Resumo: | This report is part of the internship at CMVM, with the purpose of completing my Master of Forensic Legal Sciences. CMVM focuses its intervention on two distinct methods of action: supervision and regulation of securities markets. For that purpose has a highly specialized and professional technical team in order to ensure the efficient functioning of the markets as well as to protect the investors. With the intention to combine two areas of great academic interest, Criminal Law and Securities, the main purpose of this report is to follow the entire process executed within the privileged information under the regulator procedures, and thus understand how issuers should behave and what consequences can they face when they go against what is legally approved. In order to meet this challenge, it was necessary getting to know the work of several departments within CMVM. This way, we were able to understand how the whole process of inside information initiates, develops and concludes.
