Description
Summary:An Electronic Health Record (EHR)is designed to assist clinicians in their daily clinical work and improve patient care. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to identify the problems with current EHRs and the improvements clinicians say are most important. Therefore, a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews was conducted. The results showed that the biggest concern is the user-unfriendliness of current EHRs. Dashboards and algorithms are improvements that doctors would like to see implemented. Based on the interviews, EHR providers were given six recommendations that would allow them to move from a simple EHR to the market lead.
