Summary: | The Practicum is indispensable to the student-intern's formation and to his/hers transformation into a teaching professional. During the Practicum the construction of a professional identity is initiated and the professional skills regarding teaching are developed and then applied in a real life context, as well as theoretical and practical knowledge. The following document is integrated in the scope of the Curricular Unit of the Practicum Training of the 2nd year of Master's degree in teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education of Faculdade de Desporto da Universidade do Porto, being the author of it the protagonist of the moments and experiences it portrays. In these pages the most critical and favourable to new learning events are presented. Reflexion was primarily used as a transcriber of the document and self-critic of the tasks, activities and functions undertaken, spreading as an essential instrument to the initial formation of the student-intern. The document is organized in seven chapters. The first one, referring to the Introduction, gives context to the overall document; the second one, who approaches Personal Framework, presents the author and its early expectations towards the Professional Internship; the third one ,dedicated to Professional Practices Framework describes the details of the encountered context; the forth one, alluding to Professional Practice Execution, describes and reflects about teaching organization and management, participation and relationships with the school and Professional Development where the investigation-action study about students' perception on a good Physical Education teacher is included; the fifth chapter which integrates the outcomes and future perspectives; and finally the sixth and seventh which features the Bibliographic References and annexes of the following work. Thereby, the entire evolving process of this Practicum, who fortunately found the profession who was destined for her, is shown. The path taken during the school year has deeply contributed towards her professional and personal development, along with the collaborative school's assistance and the internship core. There was a significant learning concerning student control, class management, the way teaching is carried, organization and accomplishment of extracurricular activities and development of the action research study which allowed an improvement of the learning mood and the pedagogical relationship between the teacher and her class as well as student behaviour.
