| Summary: | Merecem reflexão, neste relatório, as diferentes dimensões que caracterizam a ação educativa que desenvolvemos em contexto de creche e jardim de infância. Ao nível dos referentes teóricos procuramos aprofundar conhecimentos acerca da aprendizagem na infância, os princípios orientadores e curriculares da educação de infância e a importância que educação em ciências assume nesta etapa educativa. Caraterizamos os dois contextos educativos em que nos integramos, refletindo sobre a organização do ambiente educativo e as caraterísticas dos grupos. Procedemos à descrição e análise de um conjunto de experiências de ensino-aprendizagem, desenvolvidas, incidindo no conhecimento do mundo em articulação com outras áreas e domínios. O principal objetivo do estudo que desenvolvemos sobre a prática educativa consistiu em aprofundar o conhecimento e o gosto pelas ciências na educação de infância, promovendo a aprendizagem e desenvolvimento das crianças. O estudo foi baseado numa perspetiva metodológica qualitativa, enveredando pela observação participante e recorrendo a técnicas e instrumentos diversos de recolha de dados, como as notas de campo, os registos fotográficos, áudio visuais e as produções das crianças, para que nos fosse possível triangular diferentes tipos de informação. Os resultados relevam a importância que a aprendizagem das ciências pode assumir no processo educativo pré-escolar, para o que se requer enveredar por estratégias que, de forma lúdica e criativa, se tornem facilitadoras de uma aprendizagem ativa e construtiva das crianças.In this report, the different dimensions which characterize the educational practice in kindergarden deserve our reflection. Regarding the theorical referents, we try to deepen the knowledge about the learning process during the childhood, to understand the most important principles of the curriculum in the pre-school education and its importance in this learning age. We characterize the two educational contexts in which we are integrated, reflecting about the environment of the educational organization and the groups’ characteristics. We do the description and the analysis of some learning experiences done, taking into account the relationship between the knowledge and the curriculum. Our main goal is to take a deeper look at the interest and knowledge and the sciences in the education during the childhood, improving the children´s learning process and their development. Our research is based in a qualitative and methodological prospective done through the active observation, working with techniques and different instruments that allow us to create a database taking into account our notes, pictures videos and the children´s works. It allows us to have different types of information. The results reveal the importance that sciences can assume in the learning process in the pre-school education, using playful and creative techniques that facilitate the children´s active and constructive learning process.
