Summary: | The present work aims to study and identify some stereotypes in the community of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and seek to understand how multimedia content can be used to induce a reflection practice in the community. In this sense, interviews were carried out as well as sessions of focus groups in order to determine the stereotype of the study, with particular attention being given to the role of women in the area of technologies. A methodology based on a multimedia installation is proposed, which aims to sensitize the participant to the gender stereotype. The feedback of the participants of the installation will be used to define the results. This study demonstrates how multimedia content, in particular multimedia installations, can be potentiated in order to promote participants' introspection.
