Descrição
Resumo:This work, titled "Proposal of a furniture that accompanies the development of the child" was intended to create a line of furniture, developed through the study of the Montessorian bedroom model (a method that stimulates self-education and encourages the autonomy of children), able to adapt itself to the growth of children through the reuse of parts for furniture of different functions. The reuse of the pieces, besides contributing to a financial economy for the parents and having as a principle ecodesign, also helps in the physical and cognitive changes necessary for the healthy growth of the child. In order to make this project possible, it was necessary to understand the stages of child development studied by Piaget, in parallel with concepts of mainstream anthropometry and ergonomics. The importance of the children's room in the development of the child was also addressed by studying the historical course of adaptive furniture, reaching contemporary projects, where it was also possible to visualize models created through modularity
