Summary:The fashion industry contributes to global environmental and social issues, where the essential solution seems to implement a circular economy. Through the analysis of 7 companies in different sizes, the paper analyzes fashion companies' role in the transition from a linear economy to the circular one. First, the thesis investigated how each company has different impacts and challenges based on the company's size. The study comprise sfive chapters, starting with the methodology, followed by analyzing the barriers about start-ups, medium-sized companies and how big companies are reacting and overcoming those barriers. The final part summarizes the arguments discussed above.
