| Resumo: | Este trabalho científico estuda a visão dos membros das Forças Armadas Espanholas e da Guardia Civil sobre o terrorismo internacional. A investigação realizada, sob a forma de estudo de caso, explora a perceção que os futuros oficiais do Exército e da Guardia Civil têm sobre o terrorismo global. Apesar dos inúmeros estudos sobre a caraterização e análise do terrorismo internacional, pouco se tem investigado sobre o fator humano, daqueles que têm uma destacada responsabilidade na luta contra a violência política. O alvo da investigação são os alunos militares que brevemente serão incorporados nos quadros profissionais. Utilizou-se uma estratégia de investigação mista, aproveitando os benefícios e complementaridade das estratégias quantitativa e qualitativa. O estudo revela certa continuidade na perceção dos alunos sobre o terrorismo ao longo do tempo, a utilização de diversas fontes de informação e uma alta motivação para, no futuro, envolverem-se na luta contra o terrorismo. Abstract: This investigation work studies the vison of the Spanish Armed Forces and Guardia Civil members about the international terrorism. The investigation accomplished, as a case study, explores the perception of the future Army and Guardia Civil officers about global terrorism. Besides the huge number of studies made about analysis and categorization of international terrorism, just a few has been about the human factor, the ones who have a prominent responsibility in politic violence fight. The subject of the investigation is the students that soon will became officers. It was used a mixed strategy, gaining benefits and complementarility of quantitive and quality strategies. The study reveals a kind of continuity of the student´s perception about international terrorism today, lots of them use diverse sources of information and have a high motivation to be engaged in the future in the terrorism fight.
