| Summary: | Sargadelos é um dos melhores exemplos da influência da Ilustraçao na Galiza, que estava, naquele tempo, ainda sob a influência feudal, sofrendo uma grande deterioração. Ibáñez foi inspirado pelo movimento europeu de renovação cultural e econômica, e fundou uma fábrica metalúrgica no norte de Lugo transformada, mais tarde, numa fábrica de cerâmica que imitasse a produção inglesa, especialmente de “tipo Bristol”.
