| Summary: | A presente dissertação de mestrado em Gestão e Valorização do Património Histórico e Cultural visa o estudo e caracterização de um conjunto de moinhos de vento localizados na região do Rio Alviela, abrangendo os concelhos de Alcanena e Santarém. Pretende-se com este trabalho inventariar e estudar os moinhos de vento desta região, estabelecendo as suas características arquitectónicas, construtivas e tecnológicas, com o objectivo de preservar os vestígios existentes e determinar uma série de critérios e práticas decorrentes da necessidade de conservação e preservação do edificado molinológico. Este manual de boas práticas tem como finalidade imediata auxiliar os proprietários e instituições responsáveis nas intervenções de recuperação dos moinhos. Apresenta-se também a definição de um projecto integrado de valorização do património molinológico desta região com o intuito de contribuir para a revitalização da economia local através do turismo cultural e que simultaneamente constitua um projecto com objectivos educativos; ABSTRACT:The following dissertation of master´s degree in Management and Valorization of the Historic and Cultural Patrimony aims the study and characterization of a group of windmills located in the region of Alviela river, which are included in the municipalities of Santarém and Alcanena. This study intends to present this region windmills inventory and analysis and to establish their architectural construction and technology features, in order to preserve the remaining traces and to appoint a range of criteria and practice arising from the lack of conservation and preservation of the molinological heritage. This good practice manual has the immediate aim to support the owners and responsible institutions for the restoration of the windmills. It also offers the definition of an integrate project for the molinological heritage valorization of this region, in order to contribute for the local economy revitalization through cultural tourism, and simultaneously to constitute a project for educational purpose.
