| Summary: | «Apostilas epigráficas» é uma série que procura, de tempos a tempos, debruçar-se de novo sobre estudos que carecem, no entender do autor, de algum esclarecimento ou informação complementar. Neste 6º artigo da série, começa por corrigir deficiências registadas no anterior texto; dá conta de uma nova interpretação de IRCP 121; mostra o perigo que envolve a tentativa de identificar com elementos vegetais reais o que, na epígrafe, pode deter apenas um carácter simbólico e não de representação realística; e procura reflectir sobre o significado da ocorrência de um mesmo gentilício (no caso, Sentius) em diversos contextos e, de modo especial, dos antropónimos patentes nas marcas de fabrico. «Epigraphic apostils» is a series who, sometimes, we try to get a new look over done studies, to give complementary information. In this 6th paper of the series, deficient details of the last article published in this review are corrected. A new interpretation of the term vicarius (IRCP 121) is done. The author demonstrates that is very dangerous to identify with a real plant the vegetal elements present in a roman epigraphic monument, because frequently this representation has only a symbolic signification. Finally, we analyse seriously what means, in fact, the evidence of the same roman nomen in different types of inscriptions, even identifying a ceramic’s producer: are they members of the same family?
