Description
Summary:The present research intended to comprehend the impact of internal corporate social responsibility (CSR) perceptions on employees´ job satisfaction (JS) and turnover intentions (TI) and to clarify the role of person-organization fit (P-O Fit) in the previous relationships. In order to test the impact of internal CSR perceptions on JS and TI, as well as the mediating effect of P-O Fit, and considering a sample of 422 workers of 20 Portuguese industrial companies, hierarchical regressions analysis were conducted taking into account Baron and Kenny’s (1986) procedure. Results indicate that internal CSR predicts both variables (job satisfaction and turnover intentions) and that P-O Fit partially mediates the impact of internal CSR perceptions on job satisfaction.
