Resumo: | The majority of the manufacturing companies have its processes being manually performed, with very low or even inexistent support, with result in low productivity. Zollern is one example of such company in the field of steel objects production. Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality have been studied, together with the advantages of its capabilities when applied as an operator's assistance system in the manufacturing industry. Also, techniques for camera and projector calibration have been developed, which may be helpful in such system. This dissertation focuses on the development of an operator's technological assistance system in the task of gluing wax mould in a wax tree on the manufacturing process of steel pieces production.
