Relation between solar UVB and UV erythematic radiation at the surface

The relation between solar UVB and UV erythematic irradiances, measured at the surface in Évora between August 2011 and December 2012, presents a small dispersion with RMSE and R2 values of 0.0022 W/m2 and 0.9989, respectively. This small dispersion was investigated through an analysis to aerosols,...

Description
Summary:The relation between solar UVB and UV erythematic irradiances, measured at the surface in Évora between August 2011 and December 2012, presents a small dispersion with RMSE and R2 values of 0.0022 W/m2 and 0.9989, respectively. This small dispersion was investigated through an analysis to aerosols, which revealed that this parameter has a very small contribution to the observed spread in the data. Thus, the equation expressing the relation between UVery and UVB was applied to a set of measured data, being obtained a BIAS of -0.0009 W/m2 and a RMSE of 0.0027 W/m2 from the comparison between UVery calculated, with the equation proposed, and the measured UVery.
