Description
Summary:The main objective of this article is to comment and to analyze comparatively two literary works: the poetic work of Alberto Caeiro, heteronym of the illustrious Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, and the classical Chinese work Dao De Jing (道德 经,  Dào dé jīng) which is at the base of Taoist Philosophy. In this way, it is intended to compare the ideologies interpreted in both works, analyzing similarities and differences, in order to understand them and the reasons behind such similarities and contrasts. To this end, cultural differences will always be taken into account, not only due to the fact that the works are located in countries that are very different and physically distant, but also due to the fact that they are located in very distant times.
