| Summary: | O presente relatório visa uma análise retrospetiva e prospetiva do universo laboral de uma psicóloga clínica, baseada na relevância de experiências e competências adquiridas que se julgam adequadas à atribuição do grau de mestre. A função assistencial nos cuidados de saúde primários assume a dominância de todo um conjunto de atividades possíveis ao psicólogo, contrariando normativas nacionais e internacionais que sugerem a implementação de programas de prevenção da doença, de promoção da saúde, de formação (técnica, científica e pessoal) e de investigação-ação. A elaboração deste relatório promoveu uma visão técnico-científica atualizada que facilitou outro olhar sobre o modo de atuação e perspetivou outras linhas de intervenção. Para além da perspetiva mais tecnicista, possibilitou ainda o reconhecimento do processo de construção e evolução enquanto psicóloga; The Psychologist in Primary Health Care: The role of health care promotion and prevention Abstract: This report aims to a retrospective and prospective analysis of the work universe of a clinical psychologist, based on the importance of experiences and acquired skills which are supposed to the award of the master's degree. The welfare function in primary health care assumes the knowledge of a wide range of possible activities to a psychologist, going against national and international norms that suggest the implementation of disease prevention programs, health promotion, training (technical, scientific and personal) and applied research. Preparing this report gave an updated technical and scientific view and promoted another look in the way to implement intervention and opened other perspectives of the work. In addition to the more technical perspective, it was of great importance to recognize the construction process and the evolution as a psychologist.
