Summary: | This chapter discloses results of an investigation concerning the performance of fly ash (FA)/waste glass alkaline-based mortars with recycled aggregates reinforced by hemp fibers exposed to accelerated carbon dioxide curing. Properties, freeze-thaw resistance, and carbon footprint of these mixtures with hemp were studied. The results show that is possible to develop FA-based mortars with relevant durability performance and negative carbon footprint. |
