Description
Summary:The Work Project is divided into a group and an individual part. The group part provides an analysis of the German banking industry, future scenarios of how retail banking might develop until 2030 and outlines strategic options for retail banks. In the following individual section, the author first developed an integrated business model innovation approach based on existing literature. Finally, two new business model innovations –1) Banking-driven Digital Ecosystem and 2) The Green Retail Bank –were developed with banking experts. These create additional value for both, the German retail banks and their customers, as a first customer survey revealed.
