| Summary: | Le chemin de fer à Cuba a été introduit comme une nécessité urgente pour le développement de l'industrie sucrière, étant donné la dispersion géographique des plantations et l'existence de ports d'exportation, en se développant principalement dans l'ouest du pays. Après la construction de cette infrastructure, l'île a été dotée d'un réseau de voies ferrées pionnières inhabituel en Amérique Latine. C'est pourquoi cette mémoire analyse le chemin de fer de la périphérie de La Havane, plus précisément l'ancienne ligne électrique Habane-Güines de la société Havana Central Railroad, ainsi que son influence sur le développement de l'industrie et l'évolution du paysage et l'organisation du territoire. Une analyse est faite de des conditions historiques qui ont conduit à sa création et à son évolution dans le temps À cause de l’importance patrimonial de ce chemin de fer des actions et recommandations sont établies pour sa gestion et sa sauvegarde; RESUMO: Ferrovia elétrica nos subúrbios da Havana: organização do território e mudança da paisagem desde 1906. A ferrovia em Cuba foi introduzida como uma necessidade urgente para o desenvolvimento da indústria açucareira, dada a dispersão geográfica das plantações e a existência de portos de exportação, em desenvolvimento principalmente na região ocidental do país. Após a construção do primeiro caminho-de-ferro, a ilha foi dotada de uma rede invulgar de caminhos-de-ferro pioneiros na América Latina, razão pela qual esta dissertação analisa o caminho-de-ferro nos arredores de Havana, especificamente a antiga linha ferroviária elétrica Habana-Güines da empresa Havana Central Railroad, bem como a sua influência no desenvolvimento da indústria, na evolução da paisagem e na organização do território. É feita uma análise histórica das condições que levaram à sua criação e evolução ao longo do tempo. Devido à importância patrimonial deste caminho de ferro são estabelecidas ações e recomendações para a sua gestão e salvaguarda; ABSTRACT: Electric railroad in the periphery of Havana: organization of the territory and change of landscape since 1906. The railroad in Cuba was introduced as an urgent necessity for the development of the sugar industry, given the geographical dispersion of plantations and the existence of export ports, developing mainly in the west of the country. After the construction of this infrastructure, the island was equipped with a pioneering railroad network unusual in Latin America. That is why this dissertation analyzes the railroad in the periphery of Havana, more precisely the old Habana-Güines electric line of the Havana Central Railroad, as well as its influence on the development of the industry, the evolution of the landscape and the organization of the territory. An analysis is made of the historical conditions that led to its creation and its evolution in time. Due to the patrimonial importance of this railway, actions and recommendations are established for its management and safeguarding.
