| Resumo: | The following dissertation seeks to establish a bridge between architecture and the horse, through a practical approach, for the realization of a project. An intervention in the territory and landscape, a set of clarifying issues of functional and symbolic dimension.. Mirror of a relationship between the architecture and the horse, it's supported by a reflective speech of theoretical research, about the concepts of place, territory and landscape which will necessarily be transported to the development of the project. It is intended to present a project where both the man and the horse, are key players, therefore it wouldn't make any sense to be directed only to one and not to the other. So, the present project only makes sense when it's fulfilled by both of them and the motto for its development is Maia's hippodrome, fundamental structure of the source of all the purpose of this work.
