Resumo: | When she was fifteen years old, Fernanda Fragateiro stated that one day she would be an artist, by then she was sure that art could be an instrument to express not so innocent ideas; when she was twenty years old, that became a fact and by then the artist stated that art had the power to shake the world. Today she remains faithful to that mission, having developed an artistic work marked by the idea of construction (a creator’s doing), ruled by order, by accuracy and attention to detail. Space, understood as the depository of all physical, functional and spiritual action of man, will be one of the axes by which his creative process extends, and which articulates phenomenologically architecture, sculpture / object and spectator. This articulation clarifies the idea of landscape that goes through all her work, synthesizing the bond she creates between art and nature. The attention and persistence she dedicates to the circumstances that surround the start of each new project – which may mean going back to previous issues – shows a predisposition to care and accuracy that can be signalled as other mark of her creative doing
