| Resumo: | This dissertation has as its theme the murders of women in Maceió-AL. Its objective is to analyze and understand the configurations of lethal violence against women in the capital of Alagoas, considering variables such as: location, time, characteristics of the victims, characteristics of the executioners, type of instrument used in the murder, among others. The purpose of this study is the set of contexts related to 93 murders of women registered between 2012 and 2013 in Maceió-AL, based on the records of the Public Security Secretary of Alagoas, the content of the investigations and proceedings linked to these murders. It is na exploratory, quantitative and qualitative study and has as theoretical-methodological references the configurational and situational approaches in dialogue with feminist social theory e feminist criminology.
